According to a May 6th \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/nsidc.org\/data\/user-resources\/data-announcements\/user-notice-level-service-update-data-products\">Level of Service Update for Data Products<\/a>\u201d from the NSIDC:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Effective May 5, 2025, NOAA\u2019s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) will decommission its snow and ice data products from the Coasts, Oceans, and Geophysics Science Division (COGS).<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the level of services for affected products below will be reduced to Basic\u2014meaning they will remain accessible but may not be actively maintained, updated, or fully supported.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nsidc.org\/data\/g02135\/versions\/3\">Sea Ice Index<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nsidc.org\/data\/g02158\/versions\/1\">Snow Data Assimilation System (SNODAS) Data Products<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nsidc.org\/data\/g00472\/versions\/1\">Glacier Photograph Collection<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nsidc.org\/data\/g02172\/versions\/1\">U.S. National Ice Center Arctic Sea Ice Charts and Climatologies in Gridded Format<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nsidc.org\/data\/g10010\/versions\/2\">Gridded Monthly Sea Ice Extent and Concentration, 1850 Onward<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nsidc.org\/data\/glacier_inventory\/\">World Glacier Inventory<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you rely on these products in your work, research, education, or planning, we invite you to share your story at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:nsidc@nsidc.org\">nsidc@nsidc.org<\/a>.
